Hot processing: hot rolling, hot extrusion (expansion)
Cold processing: cold drawing, cold rolling
Cold drawing is a producing method of reprocessing hot processed pipes in cold state to produce precision, thin wall and small diameter products.
Advantages: (1) extremely small diameter, very thin (capillary) tube; High dimensional accuracy and good surface roughness; (3) heteromorphic, variable section; (4) A variety of mechanical properties can be obtained by combining with the corresponding heat treatment method.
Disadvantages: ① more processes; (2) The amount of deformation is small; (3) long production cycle; ④ High metal consumption.
