NVIDIA: Baidu's Third-generation Autonomous Driving Platform Product 'Sanxian' Will Be Equipped With NVIDIA DRIVE Orin SoC Chip

In November, NVIDIA founder and CEO Jen-Hsun Huang announced a deeper partnership with Baidu in the future.

Sanxian, a product of Baidu's third-generation Autonomous driving platform ACU (Apollo Computing Unit), will be equipped with NVIDIA DRIVE Orin SoC (system-level chip), officials said.

According to reports, the "Sanxian" autonomous driving computing platform will cover the full range of autonomous driving scenarios, and is mainly applied to Baidu ANP (Apollo Navigation Pilot) urban Pilot assistance, to provide computing power support for vehicles in the complex urban open road assistance driving.

Baidu said the Orin chip will help improve the performance and safety of Baidu's autonomous driving. At the same time, it will also play a positive role in realizing the mass production of intelligent driving and improving users' driving experience in the future.
