Cummins And Daimler Join Forces To Develop Fuel Cell Trucks

Cummins has partnered with Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA), where Daimler will use Cummins hydrogen fuel cell powertrains to assemble and validate Freightliner Cascadia trucks. The fourth-generation Cummins fuel cell powertrain used in this collaboration has improved power density, efficiency and durability. The two parties will work together to help achieve emission reduction targets in product manufacturing and operations. After the verification is successful, the first batch is planned to be launched in 2024.
