On September 16, 2023, a team of 5 members from the CBIES Export Department visited the production and quality inspection departments as part of the company's annual training and learning plan. The primary focus of this training was to gain knowledge about new equipment and processes, transitioning from semi-automated machinery to full automation, and establishing standardized production workflows through equipment parameter settings.
During the learning process, the production department provided a detailed overview of the entire production process for precision tubes, from raw materials to the finished product. Each step was strictly adhered to according to SOP (Standard Operating Procedures). Throughout the entire process, the production department ensured batch-wise sampling and testing to meet high-quality standards. Advanced instruments such as materials microscopes, tensile yield tests, and expansion tests were utilized to ensure that every precision tube produced met a 100% compliance level.

Raw Material Slitting: Initially, steel coils of raw materials are precisely cut and prepared to ensure suitability for subsequent pipe manufacturing.
Online Eddy Current Detection: CBIES Factory employs modern eddy current testing technology, a non-destructive testing method based on electromagnetic principles. Special coils are energized to create a changing magnetic field that interacts with the tested components, inducing eddy currents. By monitoring changes in the phase and amplitude of eddy currents, defects within the material are detected by measuring changes in the flow of alternating current in the primary excitation coil. This technology can identify variations in electrical conductivity, changes in material magnetic permeability, or any discontinuities, aiding in defect identification.
Annealing Zone: This process involves heating steel tubes to specific temperatures, followed by a period of insulation, and then gradual cooling. Annealing processes include recrystallization annealing, full annealing, isothermal annealing, spheroidizing annealing, and stress-relief annealing. Our factory uses a controlled atmosphere annealing furnace, which not only adjusts the hardness and strength of the pipes but also enhances their ductility, relieves internal stresses, and refines the crystal structure. This sets the foundation for subsequent machining and final heat treatment, resulting in a higher surface finish compared to oxygen annealing.
