After-sales Technical Specialist (Vietnam)

Role Overview

CBIES is seeking an After-sales Technical Specialist to support our customers in the Vietnam market. This role serves as a trusted problem solver and technical partner, responsible for after-sales support, quality issue resolution, and key account technical engagement. You will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting the sustainable growth of our business in Vietnam.

Key Responsibilities

● Provide end-to-end after-sales technical support, including product training and on-site technical guidance.

● Respond promptly to customer quality complaints; lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions until full closure.

● Conduct regular visits to key customers, perform technical follow-ups, and establish and maintain structured customer technical records to improve satisfaction.

● Participate in customer technical meetings and annual audits, clearly communicating the company's technical capabilities and value.

● Support sales and project teams with sample testing, technical clarification, and project execution.

● Assist the sales team in market development and business expansion activities in Vietnam.

● Prepare and submit weekly technical reports, issue analysis reports, and customer feedback summaries.

● Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, projects, logistics, and operations, to achieve customer and business objectives.

 

Required Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline.

● Minimum 3 years of experience in after-sales technical support, on-site service for automotive components, or related technical service roles.

● Ability to independently perform product testing, fault diagnosis, and closed-loop problem resolution.

● Solid understanding of automotive steel tubes, formed components, and their applications and requirements within OEMs and Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers.

● Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication skills; able to handle customer issues and urgent situations calmly and effectively.

● Proficient in problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and RCA; familiarity with PPAP and IATF 16949 is a plus.

● Fluent in English or Vietnamese for daily business communication; Mandarin Chinese is an advantage.

● Willingness to travel within Vietnam for short-term business trips and on-site support.

 

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience working in after-sales, quality, or process management roles at Vietnamese OEMs or Tier 1 / Tier 2 suppliers.

● Familiarity with Vietnam automotive industry regulations, certification processes, and local customer cooperation practices.

● Hands-on experience in steel tube manufacturing or tube component processing.

● Experience using CRM systems for customer data management, visit reporting, and opportunity tracking.
