China Automobile Association recently released the latest "China auto dealers inventory early warning Index survey" VIA shows that in December 2021, the auto dealers inventory early warning index is 56.1%, down 4.6 percentage points year-on-year, up 0.7 percentage points from the previous month, the inventory early warning index is above the boom and contraction line.

About 25.8 million cars are expected to be sold in 2021, roughly the same as in 2020, and about 21 million passenger cars are expected to be sold, a slight increase of less than 5 percent compared with 20 million last year.
